Hope Institute
General Information:
-About 215 students from age 3 to 20 attend the school -Classes range from preschool up to 7th grade -There are 10 teachers, 14 employees total -Though not a religiously based school, they do have bible teaching -The cost for a family to send their child is roughly $20 for the year -School is taught in French and Haitian Creole -Meets Monday - Friday, 8am- 12p |
Lack of education is wide spread in Haiti. This school is struggling to continue operating in a poor community without many other schooling options. It has many needs currently. Please pray for those involved with this school. May God provide the needs for the teachers, students, and administrators of this school.
Current Needs:
-Funding to pay teachers a monthly salary -Funding to provide a lunch for each child -Concrete work on the ground -Finishing of the concrete work of the walls in the school -Finishing painting the school -A secure wall around the compound -Desks for teachers and students -Some new blackboards -Teaching supplies -School supplies: pencils, pens, notebooks, etc. Get Involved!:
